This Weekend We...

1. Had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner and a lot of fun with our Ward cousins, but I didn't take any pictures...it was a wonderful meal and great company...not sure why I neglected to take pictures...Dan did take our family picture for a Christmas card though...I'll share it when I have it...

2. Bought a new tire even though we bought new tires two weeks ago, but needed a new tire after I turned into a median while spending too much money shopping and destroyed a tire and bent the rim...(no pictures of that either)...very disappointed in my driving...can't even blame it on the snow...the snow has melted...unfortunately the warranty doesn't cover stupid drivers....

3. Spent too much money shopping for Christmas right before spending almost $300 for a new tire...grrrrrrrr.....

4. Went to Winterfest at the Seattle Center with friends...

5. Went ice skating (well....some of us skated and some of us watched...)

6. Walked around Seattle Center in the rain enjoying lights and the fountain...

7. Ate yummy food including a hot pot at a wonderful restaurant in Chinatown...

8. Welcomed Herman Joseph Cuckoo (Hermy Joe) the elf Santa Claus sends us after each Thanksgiving to watch our behavior....

9. Went to three birthday parties (more like two parties...we were very late to the first party because I spent too much time getting the tire fixed....grrrrr....no pictures because I just dropped the girls off and ran a few errands)

10. Decided to skip seeing Santa at the Children's Museum as we had planned to do because the girls are playing so nicely and I'd rather take a nap...good night!

More Sledding Fun

The snow has melted a little, but there is still plenty to go sledding. The little sled hill is now compacted so it makes it nice and fast. I figured I took plenty of pictures the past two days so I took video today. I had to take one picture of Erin Joy in MY hat. Isn't that a cute hat!!!??? Wish she would let me wear it! It's mine!!!

Three days of sledding is enough for me. I'm ready for the snow to go away. It's going to be a long winter...

Another Day Stuck in the House

We couldn't get out of our driveway even if we wanted to because this car is blocking my driveway. Not sure if he was trying to get up or down the hill, but he didn't make it. I didn't hear anything. I wonder why he didn't come to my house or the neighbor's house and ask for help. We are both home. The owner of the vehicle is an elderly gentleman who lives in our neighborhood. I hope he is okay. I hope nobody hits the car as they come down the hill.
