Goblin Valley

Goblin Valley is an amazing play place for kids. We were joined by two of my brothers and their families. (My sister and her children were still with us). My brother frequently visits Goblin Valley because it is beautiful and his children have so much fun.

The kids climbed rocks, played in the dirt, played "house," played hide-and-go-seek, and had an Easter egg hunt.



There were NINE children hiding in this little cave.

We climbed to the top of a ridge and enjoyed great views of the valley.
At the motel, Grandma told us the Easter story using fun visual aids inside eggs.
Thanks for the candy-cane Easter bunnies, Grandma!

I learned the difference between petroglyphs and pictographs. This is a petroglyph because it is caved into the stone.

These are pictographs because they are drawn on the rock. These pictographs are over 2,000 years old.

Our last picnic before we began the LONG journey home. I'm in a motel now and will spend Easter Sunday driving all day. It has been a wonderful vacation. Too bad it can't last another week...
