Camping and Working

Our annual tradition the week before school starts is to camp at the church property across the river from our house. I can work on my classroom during the day and have fun camping at night. This year we had one day of record-breaking torrential rain and cold temperatures that scared us away for a night, but other than that, we had a lot of fun.
Vomit-Comit...

Zip-Line....

Exploring various trails and playing on a "team-building" course...(Erin Joy enjoyed wearing her bike helmet the whole time we hiked...)

Swimming was cold, but we gave it a nice try...
The sunrises over Mt. Pilchuck were beautiful. This picture was taken after the sunrise was mostly gone, but it is still nice. I love living so close to camping so we can camp every year before school starts. It will be hard to go back to school, but will look forward to more adventures next summer.

You amaze me with how many fun and active things you do with your girls! Wondering if you went camping when you had a two year old like Tate or waited until they get older?

Have a fun school year...
