Helping in My Classroom

I'm frantically getting my classroom ready for my fourth graders. My children are such good helpers. After sharpening pencils, they wanted to stuff the beanbags. I gave them permission, but I didn't think they would start without me supervising. While I was busy chit-chatting with other teachers, my children stuffed the beanbags and filled the room with styrofoam beans. Nice. When I came back to the room, they were making snow-angels. Nice. I told them they had to clean it up before lunch. We had a very, very late lunch:)

I did lose my patience with them. There were other teachers around so I didn't get as mad as I felt:)
