Future Violinist?

She has wanted to play the violin for a really long time. I told her she had to take piano lessons first. She has convinced me it is time for a violin. It sure is squeaky. She can't hold the bow right, she can't play one string at a time, and she has no idea how to even hold the violin correctly. She sure is excited though. I hope she improves with a few lessons...I don't think I can stand it otherwise:)
