We have had a wonderful time. My parents and sister are just leaving. The webcams over the passes show A LOT of snow. It is crazy. It has been so cold and spring just doesn't seem to be coming. I hope they travel home safely. My brother and his family left Monday and had a treacherous drive. They made it safely and ended up getting stuck in the snow in their own driveway.
Anyway, we finished our time together with a trip to the arboretum/Japanese Garden at the University of Washington. We then went to the tulip fields in Skagit County. The tulips aren't even close to blooming. The daffodils aren't even in full bloom yet, but we were able to see a few beautiful fields of daffodils. It was very windy and cold. Rachel was the only one willing to get out of the car to take a quick picture.
