We have an amazing music teacher in our school. She does an excellent job of taking a bunch of wiggly kids and teaching them how to sing. I am amazed with their harmony. The first video clip includes just a snippet of the concert. I put the first song they sang at the end of the clip because the music director was standing right in front of Rachel so you can't see her. The second video included the entire concert. It is very long so probably only Grandma and Grandpa will want the long version. I accidentally cut a song in half by putting another song right in the middle of it when I was making the movie and didn't notice until now. I don't want to fix it because I have spent enough time on this. When the nonsense song comes up, it is interrupted by another song, then the nonsense song continues. Sorry about that.
Rachel also goes to after-school choir where she is joined by 4th and 5th graders. They audition for the choir, but everybody gets in. The audition is just to assign the child either soprano or alto. I'm so grateful everybody gets in...what a good opportunity for all kids. Rachel loves choir and loves her director. Me too!
Once again, the first video is just a snippet and the second includes the entire concert. Even the snippet is a little long so I put my favorite song first in case you don't make it through:)
There were so many cameras pointed at the kids that they didn't know which way to look! I'm glad Rachel looked right at my camera!
